In two sessions per day, taking advantage of long morning and evening light, the workshop will focus on presenting a strategy to paint out doors-in any light and with any subject matter. The class will start with compositional ideas,
then value and then, finally, add color(nuts and bolts exercises). As the week progresses,
we will move on to method-ologies that the instructor uses in his work: value, tint, color. There will be an emphasis on brush stroke direction, hierarchy, and size. We will practice absolute color and relative color.
